Roger is founder of the Kyushin Ryu Ju Jitsu Association. Roger holds a 7th Dan in Ju Jitsu and founded his first Ju Jitsu school in 1973 after training and gaining Dan grades in Judo (1st Dan), Karate (Shotokan 2nd Dan) , Tomiki Aikido (1st Dan) and Atemi Jutsu (4th Dan). He then spent many years training with some of the finest Ju Jitsu masters in both hemispheres including Robert Clark, Inoue Tsuyoshi Munetoshi, Fumon Tanaka and Jan de Jong, building Kyushin Ryu from that single club into the organisation it is today. He has also written for several martial arts magazines over the years as well as organising some of the larger Ju Jitsu events held in the UK. He has co-founded, with a colleague from Belgium, a large international Ju Jitsu body of friends who annually meet to train in each others countries. This international organisation now covers Europe (West & East), the USA and Australasia as well as the UK & Eire.
